Carte Blanche - Champagne Louis Roederer

A testimony to the traditional old style of the 19th-century champagne wines, Carte Blanche is a soft, creamy champagne, releasing a pure fruit that feeds its lively character.

Having reached maturity after a few years ageing in the cellar, it acquires an astonishing freshness and subtlety thanks to the Louis Roederer art of blending. This delicious champagne is perfect with food and ideal for light pairings with citrus flavoured or spicy dishes, marbled paté or a piece of milk chocolate.

Tasting notes

Aged between 3 and 4 years in our cellars, Carte Blanche expresses itself with a rich, creamy texture that contrasts with its freshness.

It unleashes a succession of delectable notes of cooked fruit, baked apple, white flowers, almond and frangipane. This lovely, well-balanced epicurean champagne is an instant hit!

“ This is a champagne with a rich, creamy and full-bodied texture; set off by the wine’s freshness. ”
Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon,
Cellar Master

Ageing potential

Our champagnes undergo an extended period of ageing to allow them to gently evolve and mature, gaining in structure and depth, whilst developing highly nuanced aromas over the years.

You may enjoy them in the purity and chalky freshness of their youth or, if you appreciate more mature champagnes, wait a few more years or even decades for their candied, spicy notes to emerge. Our champagnes have a long future ahead of them and their destiny is in your hands!
