Dosage
This was a unique year, marked by sunshine and erratic weather, with intense and at times brutal extremes.
However, the 2019 wines turned out to be a combination of quality, maturity, and concentration. One word defines this vintage: exceptional!
Tasting notes
Infused with a fine saline energy, this champagne expresses a spring-like lightness and floral freshness, complemented by notes of candied citrus and toasted almonds.
The palate is intense and concentrated, revealing crisp, juicy fruit, beautifully set off by smooth, caressing bubbles. Partial barrel ageing adds structure and depth, with subtle notes of white chocolate reminiscent of the great white Burgundies. The finish is fresh, energetic and saline, underscoring the wine’s remarkable precision.

Ageing potential
Our champagnes undergo an extended period of ageing to allow them to gently evolve and mature, gaining in structure and depth, whilst developing highly nuanced aromas over the years.
You may enjoy them in the purity and chalky freshness of their youth or, if you appreciate more mature champagnes, wait a few more years or even decades for their candied, spicy notes to emerge. Our champagnes have a long future ahead of them and their destiny is in your hands!
