An extraordinary vintage which is also the year in which the Champagne region was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, 2015 followed the continental trend of that decade: a mild, wet winter and a hot, dry summer.

The summer, hot and sunny, brought record-breaking temperatures and water stress. The second half of August brought some very welcome rain, giving the vines some much needed relief. Thanks to this fresh finish, the vines produced juicy, ripe and concentrated grapes. Our ambition for this vintage? To capture the concentration which is the hallmark of this spectacular vintage!

Fresh yet restrained, this champagne reveals itself with a gentle elegance expressed through delicate notes of citrus, rose and raspberry, complemented by a touch of toasted hazelnut.

Its creamy, caressing bubbles create a deliciously concentrated, satiny mouthfeel enriched with vibrant red fruit aromas. A chalky freshness, a lovely trim finish, and slightly saline tannins underpin this deep, flavoursome and exceptionally voluptuous wine.

Cristal is an experience unlike any other, crafted in a manner that will allow it to reveal itself very gradually over time. This outsanding champagne grows more glorious with every passing year, gaining in depth, finesse and aromatic complexity. The freshness of its youth evolves progressively to reveal more candied, spicy and saline aromas along with ever more delicated and refined bubbles.

It can be enjoyed in the purity and chalky freshness of its youth or can be laid down for a few more years or even decades in a cool, dark cellar, with its oranges cellophane protecting it from light, where it will continue to evolve beautifully over time.
